Snatching From the Fangs of the Wicked

We each have something that breaks our hearts more than anything else. When we go to bed at night our thoughts are consumed with the victims and our prayers are concentrated around a particular issue. We go through our day, but never far are the thoughts of those affected.

For me injustice to women and children is something I cannot stand. For me, I cannot go through one day without thinking of the victims of human trafficking, abuse, neglect, abandonment, and malnutrition. The women, their stories. The children, their innocent eyes. Break. My. Heart.

This isn't anything new, I've had this holy discontent for sometime now, but recently God has stirred within me a new passion for these innocents. I feel a renewed sense that I must take up their cause, I must "Break the fangs of the wicked and snatch the victims from their teeth" Job 29:17, and "proclaim freedom for the captives" Isaiah 61:1. Which is where this blog comes into the picture. This blog will be my outlet for crying out my indignation of the human trafficking trade, and my outrage at the 145 million orphans in our world most without necessities such as food and clean water. I'm not even sure anyone will read this, but I have a need to have space to share the horrors that are many women and children's realities. Let's be modern day abolitionists. Lets proclaim Freedom for the Captives! Hope to the Hopeless through Jesus Christ!
