The Hope of the Lord

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit. ~Psalm 34:18~

He saves the needy from the sword, from the mouth of the mighty, and from their hand. So the poor have hope and injustice shuts her mouth." ~Job 5:15-16~

I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of your oppressors. I will FREE you from being slaves to them, and I will REDEEM you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of JUDGEMENT. ~Exodus 6:6~

The LORD is known by his acts of justice; the wicked are ensnared by the work of their hands.... But God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.~Psalm 9:16&18~

I broke the fangs of the wicked and snatched the victims from their teeth. ~Job 29:17~
